On Tuesday, March 15, at 8:00 a.m. EDT, WOLA, along with Amnesty International, Centre for Civil and Political Rights (CCPR), Center for Justice and Peace (CEPAZ), Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF), Human Rights Watch, Monitor de Derechos Humanos, PROVEA, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Transparency Venezuela, COFAVIC, and World Organization against Torture (OMCT) will host a public event featuring activists and experts in human rights and transitional justice. Experts from Transparency Venezuela, PROVEA, COFAVIC, CEPAZ, Monitor de Derechos Humanos, Max Planck Institute, DPLF, and WOLA will discuss the findings of the UN Fact-Finding Mission’s first two reports, and the pressing need to for the UN Human Rights Council to vote to renew the Mission in September.
